Accumulated WPA explained

The accumulated win-probability changes from a player’s retained source plays, with batting and pitching credit kept separate.

Definition and interpretation

Sum of retained play win-probability changes, signed for the player’s team.

+1.00 is one accumulated win-probability unit. Pitcher credit has the opposite sign to batting-team credit. This is the accumulated sum, without leverage division or regression.

Coverage and limits

Savant source play coverage and cutoffs differ from official game totals and other providers. This is descriptive, not WAR or a stable skill. No complete-career or postseason total is implied.

Recorded source plays only; no invented complete-game denominator.
